When I was out at Santee Lakes last week, we drove by the very spot where my 500-mile break-in occurred, and the redline on the digital tach jumped went from 4500 to 6500. It was like a cork pulled out of the exhaust pipe!

That was a pretty fun experience but I must say the gearing was a little "short" and at highway speeds the revs were about 4500 RPM. I could be mistaken though, as it was in 1980 which seems to be a longish time ago! Cazalea
